Ferry Port Split

The ferry port of Split is the third most important port in the entire Mediterranean, besides Naples in Italy and Piraeus in Greece. The port is located in central Dalmatia, in the city of Split, and because of its strategic position on the central Adriatic coast, the port is an unavoidable stop for many cruise ships that sail through the Mediterranean. Annually in the port come more than 250 cruise ships. In case you will need taxi transfers to or from Split ferry port, do not hesitate to contact us as we provide high class taxi transfer service.

The port is only 500 m away from the center of the city and about 20 km away from the Split airport. Split as the regional center, in addition to air and maritime lines, is well connected with the rest of the Adriatic coast, but also with the rest of the land where is particularly important the highway Split-Zagreb.

The ferry port of Split can be reached by direct lines from the Italian ports of Bari, Ancona and Pescara and those ferries dock on the islands of Hvar and Vis. At the same time this is a major port with ferry connections to almost all the Dalmatian islands such as Korcula, Vis, Lastovo, Hvar and others. The annual turnover of the port is over 4.5 million passengers. The port has four docks: the dock St. Duje, which is intended for international ferries, the dock for large cruise ships and the dock St. Peter and St. Nikola for the domestic ferry traffic. The main carrier is a local company Jadrolinija.
